IRONMAN 70.3 CAIRNS, SUNDAY 10 JUN 2018

Ironman 70.3 Cairns is a long course triathlon held in coordination with Ironman Cairns in Queensland. Enjoy the beautiful view ofTropical North Queensland while joining the race.

Ironman 70.3 Cairns features a course memorable for the swim in the warm waters of Tropical North Queensland, the bike leg that travels up arguably the most scenic coastal roads in Australia towards Port Douglas and run that includes the Cairns boardwalk before finishing in the heart of the city of Cairns.

IRONMAN 70.3 Cairns was launched in 2011 and takes
athletes along the same course as the renowned Cairns
Airport IRONMAN Cairns from reef to rainforest. The bike leg takes athletes up the Captain Cook Highway where the coastline views are spectacular.

The race will held on 10 Jun 2018, entries already open on 12 Jun 2017. There are 30 qualifying slots to the 2018 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.

Tropical North Queensland is the only place where two World Heritage listed areas sit side by side, offering spectacular tropical landscapes and superior natural encounters. While you’re in town, check out some of the region’s sublime natural assets which are home to signature adventures including Jungle Surfing in the Daintree National Park and snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef. You will be awestruck by the amazing restaurants, Indigenous culture, the untouched wilderness landscapes, and the world’s oldest rainforest and of course the Great Barrier Reef and islands.
